Sketchabilities. I've really enjoyed the two terms I've had with Karan. She is such a talented sketch designer, artist and a beautiful friend. I've had this photo for a long time, and was looking for a time when I was ready to scrap it. I've hidden the journaling on the tag, but it's the story of my Dad and my daughter Nicole. My dad bought us a lake lot and built a cabin from scratch for our family. Every morning he would go out and water the tiny trees that he bought for around the yard. Nicole was always up early so she was thrilled to go out with "Grampy" to help. He was such a wonderful Grandpa. He would always look at me and say "These trees are not for me, I'll be gone long before they are grown, but they will be here for you to enjoy". If we only knew that we would lose my dad shortly after. My dad passed when Nicole was only 8 years old, but she remembers Grampy and the fun they had together. My stories could go on and on, but the tears are flowing so I will share more of his story through my scrapbooking another time. Here's to beautiful memories and to all of us who have lost a special someone.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I love reading your comments and I appreciate your scrappy support! Have a wonderfully happy scrappy day! Lynn
