The Future belongs to those who Believe in the Future of Their Dreams

 It's Art Journal time again! I had so much fun with this one. I'm really enjoying doing a two page journal. I like how you can carry things over from one page to the next. When I scanned and photo merged them I went "hey not so bad at all" lol. I just had to try this torn paper technique just one more time before I could give up on it. This time, a much better finished product....it DOES look like a Zebra this time...Just kidding! I combined some different tutorials I found on Pinterest. One had the brick background and one had the butterfly. I'm covered in all sorts of medium's at the moment, but new favorites of the day are Gelatos and Water Colored Pencils. Have an awesome day everyone!!! I'm going to go clean my space now!!

Thanks so much for stopping by. I love reading your comments and I appreciate your scrappy support! Have a wonderfully happy scrappy day! Lynn

This is gorgeous!! I have ordered a few gelatos and I can't wait for them to come in - hopefully will help elevate my poor December Daily pages! Oh, and isn't being covered in mediums and paints the best! My kids love it when my hands are all dirty!!
When you said you found tutorials on Pinterest for the brick pattern etc - do you mean that this was not a stencil?

Hi Alison;

Yes the bricks are a stencil. I found a page on Pinterest that had the bricks with the flowers, so I wanted to try it out! I used paint on the stencil!
