Misc Me - Bo Bunny

Morning Everyone!!!! Can you believe that June is almost over? Did we have Spring? I don't think we did here where I live, lol.. We went from snow to +30C in just a few days. No time to bring out the spring jackets, we went straight to shorts and flip flops, lol. At the end of every month at Bo Bunny, we get to share our Misc. Me albums. I'm having so much fun working on this album. For this month I chose the "Family Is" collection. Just reading all the sayings made me smile all day. Is this my family or what??? lol.  I'm still doing my photo a day and printing off the calendar, but it's fun to choose a few of my favorites for the pages. My favorite one of the month is the photo of Nicole at her dance competition. I think this will be such a fun little album to look through at the end of the year. Hope your all having a fabulous day and are scrapping away!

Good Times - Quick Quotes

Good Morning and Happy Thursday! I was so excited to play with the Be Bold collection from Quick Quotes! I've been waiting to scrap this photo for awhile and when I saw the patterned paper with the surf boards, I couldn't resist. My son loves all water sports, so I will certainly be using this collection over and over this summer! For the background I used Summer Breeze 400. I thought it matched perfectly with the Be Bold collection. I then cut out strips from Be Bold 200 and 300. Don't you just love double sided patterned paper? With only a few sheets you can do a whole layout. I then did some fussy cutting to add the flowers onto my project and finished up with a few of the Be Bold Stickers and a title from the Be Bold Chipboard Die Cuts. A very fun and fast project!

Hello Friend - Bo Bunny

Howdy everyone!!! We had such a fun assignment today at Bo Bunny. The designers were asked to make a card.. not just any card.. an interactive card! My mind got churning, lol.. I found this cut file by Lori Whitlock at Silhouette and had wanted to use it for quite awhile now. I decorated the front and for the inside I decorated one of the pieces from the Prairie Chic Noteworthy collection that was a little envelope. I'm going to use it to tuck a gift card inside. There are so many cool elements in the Noteworthy package. All the pieces for the front and inside of the card came from the Noteworthy package. Great for layering or just that added touch!

Snapshots of our Life

Morning Scrappy Friends!! Happy Monday!! Today is a new sketch reveal up at Let's Get Sketchy. This one was designed by our very own Brenshevia ( who is an absolute sweetheart). I was a little lost on what to do with this one. I never seem to take multiple photos of the same thing, so I wasn't sure what direction to take. I've had this photo of Nicole & I sitting on my desk, and have been wanting to scrap it. Then the lightbulb came on and I off I went in search of my Cameo files. I only had 3 sheets of paper from this collection ( and two were the same), so I had to get creative. I cut out the snapshots file and used the negative letters on my photo. The chevrons that were left behind I used at the top of my layout. Then I had just enough paper left over to try and cut out a few flowers. I used every scrap.. I even fussy cut out the left over butterflies to add in. It was close, but I did it, lol..

Beach Boy - Bo Bunny Sketch Challenge

Morning Scrappy Friends!! Today at Bo Bunny we have a new sketch challenge! What a fun sketch Irene Tan created for us. It was so much fun to play with. When I saw the sketch and the Key Lime collection, I went hunting for a photo back from 1993 of Ryan on the beach in Kelowna, B.C. He was such a little cutie when he was one, lol. I played with my Cameo on this one for the border and title and then used the Bo Bunny stamps to complete the title. This collection is amazing. The colors are just perfect for those summer photos!!! Hope you can come by and play along with us!!! There is always a fabulous prize up for grabs!!!

Enjoy Life- Quick Quotes

Good Morning Friends! Today at Quick Quotes, it's my turn to host the monthly challenge. I chose stitching! I love to get out my sewing machine and play around.

For my layout I chose the Dusty Road Collection. When I saw the patterned papers it reminded me of Spring, so I chose a photo of my not so little puppy Jax whose favorite spot in the yard is the lawn swing. I love all the elements from this collection. The Die Cut Stickers were the cutest little elements to tuck in and around my photo and journaling. The Chipboard Die Cuts had the perfect title to add to my layout. It fit just right under my photo. You know I can't resist the PowderPuff Chalking Ink, so I just had to play with Very Berry and Amaretto.  I added some stitching across the banner, around the photo mats and a little strip under my journaling. A few touches here and there just completed the layout. I hope you can join in our challenge and show us your sewing skills!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate your comments and support. Have a Scrapfabulous day!

Beautiful - Let's Get Sketchy

Morning Morning!! Did you have your coffee yet?? Well, it's Monday, and our wonderful Jenessa has done another amazing sketch for us at  Let's Get Sketchy. When I saw the flowers I knew I had to use this one for the photo I have of my great niece Isla. And then when I found the EP papers in my stash, I thought they matched her little outfit so well, this would be a fun project. I did a little fussy cutting of the flowers since there was this whole sheet of flowers in the collection! I hope your all having a scrap fabulous day and can stop by and play along with us!!
