Misc Me - Bo Bunny

I decided to add a few things to the cover of my album.

I printed out the summary of what photos I took for the month.
Here's the calendar I printed from my phone.
One of the Vintage Dividers
The Title Page ( Yeahh for my Cameo)
A few photos for January using the two different styles of page protectors.

Morning Scrappy Friends. I'm so excited to share with you the new Misc. Me collection from Bo Bunny. Today on the Bo Bunny blog a few of the designers are showing what they are doing using the new collection. If you haven't seen it.. you have to check this out! The binders are so cute and there are different styles of page protectors, calendar pages, folders, and so much more! I wanted to use some of everything! I'm going to use the album for a mini album for my "photo a day" project. Since I was on vacation I only got done until the end of January, but we will be showcasing the Misc. Me project each month on the last day of the month. I'm excited to see what the girls create! If you are using Misc. Your Dreams Can Take You Anywhere - Quick Quotes

Good Morning Everyone! I'm sharing a layout I did using the new Stowaway Collection. This was the perfect patterned paper to scrapbook a photo of a trip my husband and I took to Vancouver Island.

I love using the PowderPuff chalk inks. For this layout I grabbed a few of my stencils and the Blue Hawaiian ink and did a little background work over the patterned paper. I couldn't believe that I dabbed the ink pad once with my dabber and did the whole background!! I also used the Mocha Mama ink to distress my photo and the edges of the hexagons. I found the 6x6 Paper Pad perfect for cutting out all those little hexagons!! Hope you are all having a wonderful day and thanks for joining us at Quick Quotes!

Curiosity - Let's Get Sketchy

Morning!!! I'm hoping this scheduled post comes up, lol. Hubby and I are in Victoria enjoying an early spring vacation and will be home tomorrow night! Since it's Monday, that means a new sketch is up for everyone to play with. I loved this one from Bev, lots of fun things to add to a project. This is Ryan in Grade 7. He decided he wanted to join the Jazz Band at school and play the trumpet! It was so much fun! I remember being in a Jazz band in highschool. The band did a few tours and played in a competition here at home. My goal is to scrap more photos of my sweet boy! The girl layouts come so easy for me, and these boy ones..they are a challenge! I tried not to put flowers on this one, lol. Hope your all having a fantastic Monday!!!

Good Morning Everyone!!! It's Lynn here today and I'm so excited to get to share my first layout with you that I did for Quick Quotes.  I chose the Cracklin' Rose collection to do my project. I love the warm rich colors and I thought it would be perfect for the photo of my daughter cuddling our new puppy Daisy.

I loved the background paper so much that I used the 6x6 Paper Pad to add some strips to the sides of the photo. I also loved using the Mocha Mama PowderPuff Chalking Ink to add a vintage look to my photo and the paper strips. I used the left over pieces from the strips to punch out some flowers for my layout. Thanks so much for letting me share my project. I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Mama Razzi 2 Mini - Bo Bunny

Morning! Happy Wednesday!!! Today I'm sharing my mini album over at Bo Bunny. I LOVED working with the new Mama Razzi2 collection. I loved all the elements and the turquoise, orange and cream colors. My favorite part of making this was using the new background stamps that Bo Bunny just launched. I think I stamped every page!! And.. the doilies.. don't even get me started on those.. I love them too! So many exciting new things from the CHA release this year. So I hope you enjoy my mini as much as I did making it. I scrapped a few photos from our Disney trip, but have always wanted a mini. I love minis because I leave them here and there around the house for sneak peeks into our lives and memories.

I have no idea how many times we went on Thunder Mountain, it was a fave!
Since Nicole & Chris were getting married that summer, it was fitting to have a bride & groom Mickey & Minnie Hat.
The boys fit right in with all the little kids at Disney with their hats and Yoda backpacks!
Nicole just graduated University, so she got a Minnie Grad Hat! Ryan loved the pink Minnie ears that she bought for her bridesmaids. At the wedding we all wore them for the first dance.
A night at "Colors of the World" water and light show.. Wow.
Every time we shopped we all had to try on the different hats. Ryan would try on anything!
We spent the day at Universal Studios.
Our passes included "Behind the Scenes" so we got to stay after the show and meet characters and take photos. Their favorite was the Animal Actors
The kids thought it was so much fun to re-take photos we took on our first Disney trip! We even went on all the kiddie rides.
The boys had soooo much fun at the Lego store in Downtown Disney!

Also... if your on the Bo Bunny blog.. check out the chance to win a full year subscription to Scrapbook Trends Magazine!! Here's the link to the post!

Sunflower Canvas

Happy Friday!! What an awesome day! My daughter is here for the weekend, so that means I get to see my gran-puppy Jaxson! It's always so nice when they come home, I miss them so much. I wanted to share a canvas I made for my girlfriends birthday. It was the first project of my attempt at art that I have given away. She was so excited, because her favorite flower is a sunflower and the colors matched her house to a tee! I found this technique from Tim Coffey on Pinterest and just had to give it a try... sooooo much fun! Took me forever to make, but it was worth it. I have no idea how many layers of paint are on this, lol.. My daughter loved it so much I'm going to make her one now!!

Picture Perfect - Bo Bunny

Morning Everyone!!! How's your day?? Today at Bo Bunny our designers are showcasing the new Mama Razzi2 collection. I love the colors and the shabby look to this line. I played with the new stamps from Bo Bunny too. They have some fun backgrounds stamps and also stamps for some of the collections. Along with the noteworthy pieces and stickers, this came together quite quickly. These are my silly kids!! The  kids love taking photos in photo booths and I love when they give them to Mom. I think they are "Picture Perfect".

Afternoon Scrappy Friends!!! I decided to take a break today and just have some fun! I've wanted to play with the Love Letters Collection from Bo Bunny for awhile now and today was the day. I have a tack board in my studio filled with photos of us together and decided to just grab one and play. Gosh.. this photo was taken in 2005! This year we will be married for 29 years. He is my best friend, my biggest supporter and he means the world to me. I hope your enjoying your day! Now off to play with my new Cameo.. right now it's a love/hate relationship, lol.

Hugs & Kisses

Morning! This is my layout for our display board at Urban Scrapbook. It's so fun to go in and see what's in the kits for the month. I love going into the store and seeing all ten designers take on the kit. This is a line from Fancy Pants collection Love Note. Such pretty colors! I wanted to try something different so I got a little wild wetting and rolling the background, lol. With the black cardstock it almost looks like a picture frame if you see it in real. I didn't even follow a sketch which is very unlike me. I just played and let it happen. This of course is Nicole & Chris hanging out at Zoo lights in Calgary. I loved the hearts above them. So Happy Wednesday everyone, enjoy your day!
